Select some text and the actions you need appear right above it.
Seltzer is a small toolbar for Windows. It shows up next to the pointer whenever you select text in any app: copy, search, open links, change case, translate, ask an AI model. Try selecting anything on this page.
For Windows 10 and 11. Not available to download yet. The bar on this page is a small stand-in that runs in your browser.
How it works
- Select text with the mouse: drag, double-click, triple-click or Shift-click.
- A bar appears above the pointer with only what makes sense for that text: Open Link for links, Show in Explorer for paths, Spelling for a misspelled word.
- Click an action. The result is pasted, copied, shown, opened or spoken, and the bar goes away.
A hundred extensions come with it
Cut, Copy, Paste, Search, Open Link, Dictionary, Show in Explorer, Spelling, Calculate, Convert, SQL List, OpenAI Chat, Ollama, Say, Print, QR Code, Hash, Get IP, Run in Terminal, Claude API, Claude Code, Claude Chat, Rewrite, Open in Outlook, Emoji Shortcodes, Remove Accents, and more.
- Add your own
- It runs extensions in the PopClip extension format, so most existing ones work unchanged. New ones published for it will appear on the extensions page.
- Careful with your clipboard
- It reads the selection through Windows accessibility first. Where it has to copy instead, it puts your clipboard back afterwards.
- Private
- No telemetry and no account. Selected text is not logged, and API keys are encrypted for your Windows account. Read the privacy details.
- On your terms
- Exclude apps and websites, or show the bar only when you hold Ctrl or press a shortcut. Drive it with the arrow keys; screen readers can name its buttons.
